Faith Statement
This is what we believe at Messiah Christian Church.
- We believe in the historic confession of the Christian faith as contained in the Nicene Creed and the Apostle’s Creed.
- We believe in the Trinity as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the One true God.
- We believe in scripture as contained in the Old and New Testament as the inerrant, inspired word of God.
- We believe in the sacrament of Holy Communion as taught by Jesus Christ before His death on the cross. (Mk14:22-24)
- We believe in baptism by water and in the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
- We believe in being washed by the blood of the Lamb. It is the blood of Jesus that washes our souls clean from sin.
- We believe in the spiritual gifts as given by the Holy Spirit. (1Cor12:7-11, 1Cor12:28)
- We believe in the offices of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher as given by our Lord, Jesus Christ for the unity of the body of Christ. (Eph4:10-13)
